Portfolio Expeditionary Warfare Testbed
ISPA Technology, contracted by the U.S. Navy's Office of Naval Research (ONR), provided innovative net-centric architectures for delivery and exploitation of geo-spatial data for expeditionary warfare. With the proliferation of specialized legacy systems, their products rarely interconnected, clients must move among the systems to cull and organize the information they seek. ISPA created the Expeditionary Warfare Testbed employing an advanced web-service-based architecture in which legacy systems are fully integrated. Clients define the information they need from a web browser, while the back-end system visits the legacy systems and presents a synthesized product, in this case containing a single map containing imagery, elevation data, tracks, etc. from various systems. The test-bed architecture is a prototypical environment in which legacy systems are tested. In addition to the architecture, ISPA provided integration, testing, and engineering support.
Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2)
ISPA Technology, contracted by the Navy, serves on the multi-year, multi-million-dollar Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) project as the lead contractor for information technology (IT) integration. ISPA's duties include creation of the IT Integration Methodology for the Joint Program Office (JPO), creation of the IT baseline, and integration of chosen technologies within DJC2. ISPA also provides guidance for the DJC2 IT architecture, and assesses new systems and applications for inclusion in DJC2. In addition, ISPA participates in DJC2 operational testing exercises including forward deployment and support of all IT components.
